Welcome

My name is Emma, and I founded Wolf Pack NZ in 2012. I’ve been working with dogs since 9 years of age and got my own dog a year later. I currently have four dogs of my own, a Hunterway x, a German Shepherd, a Tamaskan, and a Siberian Husky, the former two featuring in my logo. They are not only my dogs, but also my teachers, sidekicks, and colleagues.

Dogs need a human leader to survive comfortably in our world, to guide them through it, help them understand it, and ultimately make the most of it. Wolf Pack is aimed at helping to provide a certain aspect of that – socialisation.

Many people believe that socialisation is simply taking their dog out to the park, and setting him free to mingle and run with any other dog in the area. This belief can easily wind up causing some of the problems we commonly see today due to bad experiences, lack of management, or lack of understanding of dog behaviour among other things.

My daycare facility is designed to give your dog a controlled “pack experience” – where your dog can be a dog in a safe and stimulating environment.
